Michael specializes in transparency, by stating what is and hoping/then working for the best possible outcome for all parties involved.  He has 20 years on the Boulder Area Realtor Association and 20 years as a National Association of Realtors Member aka a Realtor. He also has remodeled over 25 properties himself and has a fair knowledge with many aspects of real estate including real estate contract negotiations, both large and small. He services 17 counties in the front range area of Colorado and most major resorts. He is a United States Department Of Housing and Urban Development NAID Certified Broker who has been advisor to the Government in roundtable discussion. He has earned an extraordinary reputation selling real estate by providing the exact same services that the competition offers but at a fraction of the price. Home Sellers will be able to offer us a commission amount they choose to pay with a reasonable asking price.  He figured he would try to change the world one deal at a time and see if people will come around to saving thousands when selling real estate. The idea is to sell the signed listing contracts I execute with the home sellers (the ones I offered at a discount) to any Colorado licensed Realtor in an auction style website where I set the starting bid at 500 dollars. It is noteworthy that not one Realtor has purchase a listing contract as of yet but I am confident that over time this idea will take root and become more popular.

 

The idea is a twenty year work in progress but stemmed out of Zillow Trulia and Realtor.com selling “leads” to realtors across the county. Then within minutes of a client hitting yes or I agree on their website , then three to five Realtors are calling them  within seconds to minutes to try to pick up their business. Fine in theory but made me feel like I was now in a shitty profession, like some Attorneys, they appear to be ambulance chasing the guy who just got run over to get the client, which seems very scummy to me. I do not know of any of my other fellow realtors trying to combat the lead selling aspects of our industry but they should have some class, we aren’t car salesman , are we? I am just one man and at least I am trying something new.

 

I have enthusiasm and passion for the exact same first class service with years of market analytics and BPO’s. Interesting Facts About Michael

  • Born In New Jersey and raised in Goshen New York.
  • Michael is married to a wonderful woman from Kathmandu Nepal. They have two beautiful children and live in  Longmont Colorado. He loves to ski and has a reputation amongst some of the locals in Grand County as a bit crazy but feels after 41 years of skiing, it just looks crazy from where they are standing! He is a humanitarian entrepreneur who spent some of the younger years teaching in United Kingdom and traveling around Europe and Africa.  His family is everything and they spend a lot of time and energy trying to help her family and the people of Nepal. FYI $1200 USD is a year’s wage working 6 days a week and there have been over 200 earthquakes in the last year!
  • Michael’s first job was in civil engineering then as a professional educator teaching 10-11 tear old youngsters then Real Estate and home building /remodeling.
  • To the disbelief of his pilot father he once jumped out of a perfectly good working airplane, on purpose, 6 times!
  • He often jumps into avalanche shoots for the thrill if he is not too tired from skiing the bumps.
  • His financial abilities and investments produced a 26.3% return on invests last year (2015) with less than $2000 in the stock exchange(s), let me translate Real Estate can be a great investment if you know what you are doing and if you don’t and need someone like me who treats every deal with the “well if it were me I’d do …”  when you hire me you receive all my experiences and knowledge, no one is perfect but a person with lots of deals under his belt sure has an advantage.  Try and remember that out of the hundreds of homes I sold over the years that I personally demolished down to the studs and then remodeled them back to pristine condition over 25 homes, this is huge and speaks volumes when it comes to discovering material defects.
